Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about our oils, storage, ordering and delivery.
What is wood-pressed (Mara Chekku) oil?
Wood-pressed oil is extracted by slowly crushing seeds with a traditional wooden pestle and mortar. Madikar Taila uses low-speed pressing below 35°C, without the chemical refining, bleaching and deodorising used in refined-oil processing.
Do you deliver across Hubballi and Dharwad?
Yes. We offer home delivery to residential and commercial addresses across Hubballi and Dharwad. Local orders are typically delivered the same day or next day. Please confirm availability and timing when ordering.
Do you ship to other cities across India?
Yes, to serviceable PIN codes through courier partners such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC and India Post. Products are packed with protective cushioning and sealed packaging. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for estimated times and charges.
How are online payments handled?
When online payment is available, payments are handled through providers such as Razorpay. Madikar Taila does not store card numbers, CVVs, bank passwords or UPI PINs. Available payment options are confirmed when you order.
What is the shelf life of your wood-pressed oils?
We recommend using the oils within 6–9 months of extraction. Follow the date and storage guidance on your particular bottle. Keep oil in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, preferably in food-grade glass or tin containers.
Why is there some sediment at the bottom of my oil?
Fine seed particles can settle naturally in unrefined wood-pressed oil. Madikar Taila does not use chemical clarifying agents. If you have a concern about your bottle, contact customer care with the product and batch details.
What is your cancellation and return policy?
Request cancellation within 12 hours of ordering and before dispatch. Once the order is in transit, it cannot be cancelled. Report breakage, leakage, incorrect or missing products within 48 hours of delivery with photographs or video and your order reference. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for eligibility and refund times.
